  • Water Plant Regulatory Assistance

       2018 Lead and Copper Regulatory Assistance Project:

The Rend Lake Conservancy District is seeking engineering assistance to help track the Intercity Water System’s 2018 lead and copper sampling, reporting, and public education actions and verify that all IEPA requirements are satisfied in a timely fashion.  The project will also include proactive sampling assistance for lead samples in select homes known to contain lead plumbing components.  Interested firms should contact Keith Thomason, P.E. at (618) 439-4321 for additional information.  Interested firms must submit a statement of interest, statement of qualifications, and any relevant performance data to the Rend Lake Conservancy District (Attn: Mr. Thomason) by 10 a.m. on Monday, November 26, 2018.  Documents shall be mailed to RLCD, PO Box 907, Benton, IL 62812 or submit electronic copies of these documents to klthomason@rendlake.org

  • Water Plant Chemistry Optimization

2018 WTP Chemistry Optimization Project:

The Rend Lake Conservancy District is seeking engineering assistance to optimize the water treatment plant chemistry to achieve all IEPA treatment goals while protecting filter and membrane media from chemical buildup or deterioration.   • Water Plant Membrane HMI Replacement

           2018 WTP Membrane HMI Replacement Project:

The Rend Lake Conservancy District is seeking IT assistance to replace the failed HMI on the local membrane control panel.   The project will include the purchase and installation of a new touchscreen computer, the purchase and installation of Rockwell software, and the reinstallation of program files, and restoration of local operations.  Interested firms should contact Keith Thomason, P.E. at (618) 439-4321 for additional information.  Interested firms must submit a statement of interest, statement of qualifications, and any relevant performance data to the Rend Lake Conservancy District (Attn: Mr. Thomason) by 10 a.m. on Monday, December 17, 2018.  Documents shall be mailed to PO Box 907, Benton, IL 62812 or submit electronic copies of these documents to klthomason@rendlake.org

  • Water Plant Capital Projects (Pumps, Piping, Basins, Process Control, Etc.)

2019 Water Treatment Capital Projects:

The Rend Lake Conservancy District is seeking engineering assistance to prepare construction plans and specifications for various projects.   Projects will include new hydrochloric acid tanks and delivery systems,  a new CO2 storage tank, new inlets/gates/piping modifications at the intake pier, new backup high service pumping capability, a refurbishment plan for the diesel engine at the Mt.
