Board of Trustees

The governing body for Rend Lake Conservancy District is a seven member Board of Trustees.  Each member is appointed to a five year term by a local government from within the Conservancy District.  A list of the Trustees, the government entity that appointed them, and when their term expires is listed below in alphabetic order along with any office they hold on the Board.

Ernest Collins is the Jefferson County out of Mt. Vernon member appointed by the County Board.  His term expires on July 1, 2029.

Paul Lawrence is appointed by the City of West Frankfort.  His term expires on July 1, 2026.

Nicholas LeMay is appointed by the City of Mt. Vernon.  His term expires on July 1, 2026. He is currently the Vice-President of the Board.

Todd Thomas is appointed by the City of Benton.  His term expires on July 1, 2028.  

Robert C. (Buddy) Walton, Jr. is an at-large member from Franklin County appointed by the County Board.  His term expires on July 1, 2027.  He is currently the Secretary of the Board.

Dr. John Spence is the Franklin County out of Benton and West Frankfort member appointed by the County Board.  His term expires on July 1, 2027.

Michael Warren is an at-large member from Jefferson County appointed by the County Board.  His term expires on July 1, 2025. He is currently the President of the Board.
